Terms of Service

The deal, in plain language.

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Ellivate. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Ellivate.

What Ellivate is

Ellivate is a publishing platform for personal software. You bring a project you built (often with an AI assistant), and Ellivate figures out the stack, wires up storage, auth, sessions, and third-party connections, and hosts it at a live URL inside the Ellivate app. Ellivate is for personal and small-group tools — for yourself, your household, your team, or your friends — not for running a commercial product.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. One person or entity per account unless we agree otherwise.

Your content and tools

You own the code, content, and data you upload or create on Ellivate ("Your Content"). You grant Ellivate the limited license needed to host, translate, deploy, run, and back up Your Content so the service can function, and to display tools you choose to share. You're responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use it. Don't upload anything unlawful, infringing, or that violates someone else's rights.

Acceptable use

Don't use Ellivate to break the law, harm others, send spam, distribute malware, infringe intellectual property, or abuse the platform (including attempting to circumvent limits, security, or rate controls). Don't use the service to build tools whose primary purpose is to violate these Terms or a third party's terms. We may suspend or remove tools that do.

Third-party connections

You can connect third-party accounts (such as Google) so your tools can act on your behalf. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and Ellivate's handling of the data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke any connection at any time from your Connections dashboard. You're responsible for complying with the terms of any service you connect.

Plans, credits, and payment

Some features require a paid plan or consume AI credits. Prices, limits, and plan details are shown at sign-up and on our pricing page and may change with notice. Paid plans renew until canceled; you can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Availability and changes

Ellivate is offered on an ongoing but not guaranteed-uninterrupted basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set or adjust reasonable limits. We'll try to give notice of material changes that adversely affect you.

Termination

You can stop using Ellivate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or the platform. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period.

Disclaimers and liability

Ellivate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. You're responsible for keeping your own backups of data you care about.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use Ellivate after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
